Lubbock, Texas, 1/7/09 — At Choice Music Events, we seek to build off the success and critiques of our festivals every year. That is why we are excited to announce that plans for the 2010 festival season are already coming into fruition as dates have now been finalized for both the Showcase of Music and National Youth Concert festivals.

“With the current economic situation our country is currently in, we know that music programs are looking further ahead to assess fundraising needs,” said Zac Miller, operations director, “and we want our personal deadlines to stay up to date with the needs of directors all across the country.” Our website, www.choicemusicevents.org, will soon contain all the information necessary for schools to begin planning for the 2010 season. As always, we encourage schools to check with our preferred tour partners to assist in planning, and we are eagerly anticipating a milestone year in 2010.

Choice Music Events is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing all band, choir, and orchestra students with positive, educational, and enriching performance opportunities while enhancing the music education profession. By offering events ranging from competitive adjudicated festivals to nationally promoted concerts, Choice Music Events is able to provide performance opportunities for ensembles of every age and caliber.
