The Performance of Record event offers instrumental groups a quality performance and recording opportunity. The event is non-adjudicated and each venue will have a pre-selected recording engineer. Normal concert attire is required. A public concert with a combined event program listing for each group will be held using the TMEA Honor Band/Orchestra guidelines.

Format

• A non-adjudicated event
• One hour in warm-up room with a 15 minute set-up
• One hour on stage which may include:
  • Time with recording engineer
  • Time to check balance and volume
  • Performance of prepared concert program
